Job Summary
Responsibilities
Performing general lab management, ordering, storage and regulatory compliance.
Maintaining the animal colony, supervising breeding, genotyping and euthanasia.
Collaborating with other lab members on the analysis of primary cells and tissues from experimental animals.
Maintain experimental records, make figures and calculate statistical significance of findings.
Maintains technical and administrative support for a research project.
Analyzes and maintains data and/or specimens. Conducts literature reviews. Assists with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents.
Performs other related work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications

Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.

Bachelor's degree in the biological sciences.
Experience:
Relevant research experience.
Preferred Competencies
Familiarity with mouse genetics, experience with animal colony maintenance and genotyping.
Experience in basic immunologic techniques such as flow cytometry.
Skills in basic bioinformatics and image processing strongly preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Verbal and written communication skills..
