- Hands-on experience with Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue modules
- Deep understanding of Invoice-to-Cash and revenue recognition processes
- Experience with integrations (API, data loads, mediation) and downstream accounting platforms
- Strong SQL/data-querying skills for reporting and reconciliation
- Knowledge of taxation, invoice presentment, and usage mediation
- Experience working with finance and accounting stakeholders
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and change management
- Experience supporting audits and SOX controls
Responsibilities
- Lead design, configuration, development, and testing of Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue solutions focused on Billing, AR, Cash Application, and Revenue processes.
- Run business workshops to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into effective Zuora designs and prototypes.
- Create system prototypes and demos to validate solutions with stakeholders prior to development.
- Lead cross-functional requirement sessions; document functional specifications and resolve conflicting requirements.
- Integrate Zuora with upstream usage systems and downstream accounting platforms (e.g., Oracle Fusion, Highradius, Salesforce, internal systems).
- Develop KPI dashboards and reports using Zuora object queries and other data queries; benchmark and track operational metrics.
- Monitor critical production processes, perform checks, proactively identify issues, and implement fixes.
- Support financial close activities, reconciliations, QAR, Audit and SOX compliance related to billing and revenue.
- Mentor and lead junior consultants to deliver project outcomes and maintain operational runbooks.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Relevant Zuora certifications preferred
