Responsibilities
- Define and drive strategic technical vision for Platform Experiences and Twilio Platform with senior leadership.
- Architect and establish standards for scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to align on objectives and outcomes.
- Debug and resolve complex distributed systems issues that impact customers and platform reliability.
- Research and apply cutting-edge technologies to evolve product capabilities and processes.
- Mentor senior and principal engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Set industry standards for innovation, best practices, and architectural governance.
Education
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Equivalent professional experience accepted in lieu of formal degree
