The Princeton Review is seeking a College Admissions Counselor to provide academic and college advising services to students, focusing on all aspects of the college preparation and application process. This role is part-time during the application season with flexible hours to accommodate a caseload of students.
Responsibilities: Counselors will assist middle and high school students through the college admissions process, manage student caseloads, deliver webinars and social media events, and collaborate on marketing efforts.
Skills: Candidates should have exceptional writing, communication, and organizational skills, a deep knowledge of the college admissions process, and proficiency in using web-based advisory tools.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for candidates holding a higher degree and having 2-3 years of relevant admission or counseling experience.
Location: This position can be performed remotely across the United States, except in Arkansas, Hawaii, Idaho, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
Compensation: $50 - $100 / Hourly
The college admissions counselor’s primary role is to provide comprehensive academic and college advising retail services to students with diverse interests and abilities. College Admissions Counselors for The Princeton Review assist students and families with all aspects of the college preparation, search, and application process. The college admissions counselor may also be presented with special projects pertaining to other needs of the organization.
15-30 hours/week during application season (August-December)
