About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

Details:
- In-Person Tutoring in Culver City, CA!
- Schedule: 2 sessions for 1.25 hours
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with neurodiverse students, particularly those with autism and IEPs.
- Skilled in teaching foundational literacy and math skills at the elementary level.
- Ability to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
- Patient, flexible, and able to adapt teaching methods to the student’s learning pace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction in literacy and math using a supportive, paced approach tailored to the student’s needs.
- Utilize engaging and creative activities to enhance motivation and learning.
- Incorporate student interests such as animals, music parties, and Legos to connect lessons to personal passions.
- Conduct or support academic assessments to inform and adapt instructional strategies.
- Maintain consistent communication with caregivers and educational teams to track progress and align with IEP goals.
