Your Role on Our Team
The Software Engineer II will work as a member of an agile software development team that is responsible for building and maintaining custom applications for Milwaukee Tool. The Software Engineer II will participate in agile ceremonies and help facilitate good practices throughout the SDLC.
You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities
· Hands on design and development of applications using technologies such as .NET/React.
· Work as a member of an agile software development team
· Enhance and support existing applications
· Troubleshoot problems identified by users
· Collaborate with architects, lead developers, and analysts to understand requirements and develop solutions
· Advocate for adherence to standards on the development team
· Collaborate with product owner, analysts and development team to estimate projects, features and user stories
The TOOLS you’ll bring with you
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
· 3 or more years of professional software development experience
· Experience with the following technologies
· C# / .NET
· React.js or similar JavaScript framework
· SQL
· Azure Cloud / other cloud platform
· Container Apps, APIM, Service Bus preferred
· Git or other source control
· Writing CI/CD
· Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
· Object-oriented and relational database development skills. Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Experience working with agile methodologies.
