It is redefining travel media with its original content and collaborations with top networks and production partners, offering a mix of short-form and episodic programming.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our team, specializing in geo-location services, active geo-targeting, and advanced media playback (live and on-demand video). You will develop high-performance iOS experiences that dynamically respond to users’ real-world locations and deliver personalized video content via an embedded media player. In addition to core features, you will help integrate survey modules, coupon delivery systems, and location-based personalized offers within the app. This role requires strong experience in location APIs, background location tracking, media playback frameworks, and a focus on scalable, privacy-compliant mobile development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop native iOS applications focused on real-time location detection, geo-targeted interactions, and media content delivery.

• Integrate and manage background location tracking, geofencing, and event-driven geo-targeting using Core Location and third-party SDKs.

• Implement advanced video playback features, including live streaming and on-demand content, using AVKit or custom media players.

• Build and integrate survey modules, coupons, and offer delivery systems triggered by location-based events

• Optimize apps for background activity, battery efficiency, and compliance with Apple’s privacy frameworks (ATT, Location Services, Background Tasks).

• Collaborate with backend and product teams to ensure seamless location-based content delivery and real-time user analytics.

• Write clean, modular, and testable Swift code following modern iOS architectures (MVVM, Combine, Swift Concurrency).

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building native iOS applications using Swift.

• Strong knowledge of Core Location (CLLocationManager, CLRegion, background updates) with a focus on battery-efficient tracking.

• Solid experience with media playback, including AVKit, HLS streaming, video caching, and adaptive bitrate handling; live video integration is a plus.

• Proficient in Swift Concurrency (async/await), Combine, and modern architectural patterns.

• Comfortable working with both SwiftUI and UIKit, depending on the feature set.

• Familiar with BGTaskScheduler for background task management.

• Experience integrating in-app surveys, forms, and location-based coupon or offer delivery flows.

• Strong grasp of Apple’s privacy frameworks and best practices for secure mobile interactions.
