Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Photo Retoucher to join our creative team. This role is critical in ensuring the visual excellence of our brands across all platforms. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience in photo retouching and color grading, with a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for maintaining brand consistency. In addition to retouching and color grading, this role includes the unique responsibility of managing and organizing our digital asset library, ensuring seamless accessibility and efficient workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Photo Retouching and Color Grading:
  • Perform detailed photo retouching and color grading to ensure all imagery aligns with the visual style and quality standards of our diverse portfolio of brands.
  • Collaborate with photographers, designers, and other team members to bring creative visions to life.
  • Enhance product and lifestyle photography with meticulous attention to detail, including skin retouching, object cleanup, and lighting adjustments.
  • Digital Asset Library Management:
  • Upload, tag, and organize digital assets to maintain an efficient and user-friendly digital asset management (DAM) system.
  • Implement best practices for file naming, metadata entry, and archival processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure assets are easily searchable and accessible across the organization.
  • Familiarity with product photography and/or lifestyle photography workflows.
  • Knowledge of color theory and an understanding of brand aesthetics.
  • Experience with advanced retouching techniques, such as frequency separation or compositing.
  • Previous experience in a multi-brand or agency environment is a bonus.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in photo retouching, color grading, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom is required; familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite applications is a plus.
  • Experience managing or working with digital asset libraries or DAM systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to consistency.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite applications "and CaptureOne" is a plus.
  • Experience with advanced retouching "and AI" techniques, such as frequency separation or compositing.
