Job Description Summary

Leads a team of retirement industry professionals for an assigned region with multiple territories. Responsible for driving profitability while enhancing client satisfaction, loyalty and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee client relationships within an assigned region.
  • Recruit, develop, lead and retain a team of Regional Managers and Client Executives, segmented by market or geography.
  • Ensure adherence to process and documentation standards to minimize operational risk and loss.
  • Ensure adherence to best practice standards and hold team accountable.
  • Maintain high levels of client loyalty within assigned geographical region or market segment.
  • Achieve agreed upon measurable objectives for profitability, client satisfaction, retention and cross sell.
  • Develop strong relationships with larger clients and key advisors.
  • Ensure compliance standards are understood and followed by team members.
  • Measure and track quality indicators for assigned region or market segment.
  • Monitor and adhere to budgetary requirements.
  • Recommend process improvements within Client Relationship Development and across the organization.
  • Work to enhance the company's competitive position in the marketplace.
  • Represent the company in new sales, retention and industry meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business related field or equivalent experience.
  • FINRA series 6, 63 and 24, and required life insurance licenses, or obtain within specified time period.
  • Seven years of client management experience, including staff management.
  • Advanced knowledge of pension products and services.
  • Understanding of industry and competitive best practices.
  • Leadership skills to motivate others and effect change.
  • Presentations skills.
  • Persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized and solution focused.
  • Team oriented.
  • Advanced PC proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • CEBS designation

Working Conditions

  • Office environment or work remote from home.
  • Extensive travel (up to 70%) depending on work location and regional assignment.

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $120,000-$150,000 annuallyPlease note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
