UChicago Medicine is seeking a Nurse Manager to join the Ambulatory Float Pool team, supporting multiple outpatient clinics in Hyde Park and surrounding locations. This role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care across a variety of specialties, including Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology, Primary Care, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, and more.
In this role, the Nurse Manager oversees day-to-operations, including scheduling, planning, organizing, and directing all activities related to patient centered care in the unit, and handles an array of administrative duties, including recruitment and hiring; supervision; purchasing; inventory; facility, safety and equipment management. Responsible for preparing for and participating in various inspections, including the JCAHO accreditation process.

UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits. The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.
The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
