The Role:
We’re looking for a stellar Staff Product Designer to help us take our mental fitness tools to the next level. As a part of our world-class design team, you'll work with product-oriented engineers, content strategists, and other stakeholders to help build stunning, thoughtful, and impactful experiences for our millions of users.
This is a fully remote position anywhere in North America or South America; however, we have a preference for candidates based in or around Los Angeles, CA.
How You’ll Make an Impact Here:
Independently lead complex design projects, delivering beautiful and creative results
Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to solve deep problems with simple and elegant solutions that deliver value to our customers
Utilize strong communication skills to articulate decisions and advocate for design excellence
Foster talent by mentoring fellow designers to help them develop and improve their skills
Work lean and fast as part of a small, high-impact, and high-output design team
Directly influence product and company decisions
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience working on beautifully designed mobile products
Design portfolio that demonstrates outstanding UX and UI work
Deep-rooted user empathy and excellent visual and interaction design skills
Comprehensive understanding of mobile design patterns
Hunger to challenge yourself, learn new things, tackle complex problems, and level up your collaborators
Highly proficient in Figma
Self-motivated and proactive
Collaborative and communicative, with a track record of giving and receiving impactful feedback, sharing insightful opinions, and asking thoughtful questions
Bonus:
Experience building or working with meditation, educational, or puzzle-based experiences
Experience working in a fully remote work environment with teammates operating across various time zones
Experience with motion design and animation using tools such as After Effects or Rive
