Finance Operations Coordinator - job 1 of 2

The Finance Operations Coordinator position is based in Washington, DC and reports to the Director of Finance Operations. The Finance Operations Coordinator works closely with the Director of Finance Operations, the National Finance Directors, and Regional/Coalition Finance Directors to manage the major donor physical correspondence program and email correspondence process. 

Applicants must be detail oriented, possess strong communication and organization skills, and have some finance campaign and/or accounting experience. 

• Manage and coordinate major donor correspondence program. 
• Manage and coordinate major donor email program. 
• Support the Director of Finance Operations, National Finance Directors, and Finance Team as needed. 
• Other duties as assigned to support the department and the DNC's mission.

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in fundraising or accounting, preferably in the political campaign finance field.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Google Suite.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of pulling reports in NGP database.
• Experience managing finance events and staffing principals is a plus.
• Travel may be required.
• Flexibility to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends.

Travel: The Finance Operations Coordinator position will require travel, which could be up to 15% of the time.

Salary: The starting salary for the Finance Operations Coordinator position is $57,000 on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, which means you will be eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 in a given workweek. This position is in the bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local-500.
