Job Description Summary:

The Coca‑Cola Company, a global leader in the beverage industry, is seeking a strategic and results‑oriented Senior Manager to oversee Third‑Party Variety Pack Operations across the supply chain.

We work with trusted co‑packers and manufacturing partners to deliver high‑quality, innovative variety packs that delight our customers and consumers. In this role, you will provide both operational and strategic leadership — ensuring third‑party facilities meet production, quality, sustainability, and cost targets, while driving continuous improvement and future‑focused innovation.

What You Will Do for Us

Third‑Party Partner Management

  • Manage relationships and operational performance of third‑party variety pack co‑packers to deliver agreed production volumes, quality standards, and service levels.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for escalation and resolution of production or quality issues between co‑packers and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with third‑party partners to ensure ongoing improvement in key metrics.
  • Lead site visits to verify compliance with safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Production Planning & Operational Excellence

  • Collaborate with supply planning teams to coordinate supply across co-manufacturing variety pack and third-party variety pack operations to meet product mix and delivery timelines.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve labor and line utilization.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational output, product consistency, and cost efficiency.
  • Partner with engineering and technical teams to introduce packaging innovations and improve process capabilities.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure all third‑party operations meet Coca‑Cola product quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Food Safety teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote a culture of quality and compliance at partner sites.

Inventory, Financial & Contract Management

  • Partner with Supply Chain Finance to prepare annual budgets, track performance, and manage cost drivers.
  • Approve third‑party invoices and verify alignment with contracted terms.
  • Support inventory control processes to meet corporate inventory policy requirements and accuracy standards.
  • Support contractual negotiations with co‑packers to optimize terms, production flexibility, and service levels.

Sustainability Integration

  • Embed sustainability goals into variety pack operations, including packaging material optimization, recycling initiatives, and energy‑efficient production methods.

Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Produce regular reports for senior leadership summarizing production KPIs, quality performance, improvement projects, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build consensus among internal teams, brand managers, and third‑party partners to deliver variety pack programs and product launches on time and on budget.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Packaging Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing operations, co‑packing, or packaging supply chain management; experience with variety pack production strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and manage external partners for measurable performance improvements.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing financials and cost optimization in packaging operations.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies in a production or co‑packing environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety, GMP, and regulatory compliance standards.

What We Will Do for You

  • The opportunity to work with a supply chain organization committed to sustainability, social impact, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Access to a diverse, global network of manufacturing partners and internal experts in packaging innovation.
  • Professional development programs and opportunities to drive impactful change in packaging operations.
