- Time management and ability to meet recurring monthly deadlines
Responsibilities
- Maintain, update, and load monthly meter reading information into the billing database
- Maintain and update meter books
- Create and maintain invoice templates and produce monthly and year-end invoices
- Update invoices with past due amounts, late fees, and input receivables into AS400 or billing system
- Manage impact fee reports/payments, enter data, and follow deposit procedures
- Maintain wholesale area of the Water Department website with rates, impact fees, meeting dates and announcements
- Attend and participate in meetings with wholesale customers to resolve account and billing issues
- Maintain databases and reporting forms for quarterly impact fees
Education
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (minimum)
- Relevant technical accounting coursework or equivalent experience
- Valid Class C Driver's License (preferred/required)
