- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and drainage design

- Proficiency reviewing plans, specs and construction documents
- Ability to communicate effectively with public officials, residents and contractors
Responsibilities
- Manage stormwater capital projects including scope, schedule, budget, design review, and construction oversight
- Review consultant plans, specifications, contracts, amendments, invoices and ensure regulatory compliance
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic evaluations and coordinate design for storm drain, culvert and channel restoration projects
- Prepare and evaluate construction bids, cost estimates, change orders and financial analyses
- Coordinate and lead public meetings and stakeholder communications related to projects
- Provide direct support to the Engineering Manager and assist in policy, procedure and standards development
- Ensure projects comply with federal, state and local regulations including FEMA and permitting requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration required (TX or obtain within 6 months)
