Community Engagement Liaison

The City of Fort Worth is seeking a Community Engagement Liaison to develop, implement, and promote public education programs that engage residents and community partners. The role requires strong communication, creativity, and project-management skills to coordinate outreach, create materials, manage events, and measure program effectiveness.

Valid driver's license and ability to attend offsite events

Responsibilities

Plan, monitor, and evaluate public education programs and services
Develop and distribute marketing materials (press releases, newsletters, flyers, brochures, social media)
Plan and deliver classes, workshops, and presentations for diverse audiences
Maintain and manage outreach and mailing list databases
Represent the City at community meetings, civic organizations, and public events
Conduct surveys and research to assess program effectiveness and capture participant feedback
Coordinate resources, materials, facilities, and volunteers for events and program activities
Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and volunteers to meet program goals

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Public Administration, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or Social Sciences
Candidates without the degree may be considered if they possess more relevant work experience than required
