Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement enterprise risk management frameworks and policies for the Digital Asset Bank.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across operational, financial, compliance, and reputational domains.
- Develop and execute mitigation strategies for risks including cybersecurity, fraud, and emerging threats.
- Collaborate with compliance to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Engage with the Nebraska Department of Banking & Finance and other regulators to meet supervisory expectations.
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and control effectiveness; prepare reports for executives, the board, and shareholders.
- Foster a risk-aware culture through training and stakeholder communication across the organization.
- Coordinate risk management activities with IT, finance, legal, and business units to balance protection and value creation.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in finance, risk management, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) or professional certification preferred (e.g., FRM, CRCM)
