Power Platform Developer - Surge Support

Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design (front-end and technical), develop, and maintain quality PowerApps business solutions
• Leverage the entire Power Platform suite of tools
• Create technical documentation for PowerApps solutions
• Coordinate with Power Apps developers and architects to design database schemas, dataflows, workflows, and applications 
• Bring a depth of knowledge and familiarity with industry standard concepts, practices, and procedures to all aspects of report design and development
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks. 
• Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 6 to 8 years of experience (senior level) or 4 to 6 year experience (mid level) in the field or in a related area
• BS/BA degree in related area (or equivalent)
• Development experience with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Experience with SharePoint Online/SharePoint Administration is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to successfully obtain a Public Trust

Overview

We are seeking a Power Platform Developer  to join our team supporting NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Office of Habitat Conservation (OHC) in Silver Spring, MD.

OHC is moving forward with a multi-year reorganization and consolidation of business tools, enterprise data, and business intelligence with the goal of supporting complex and growing program needs. TekSynap will provide support services to ensure a level of continuity throughout this process that includes planning, project management, solutions design, business analysis, user support and development support and maintenance.

WAGE INFORMATION

Target hourly range: $41-$50/hr.  The range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.  The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
