The Program Aide provides administrative and program support for the USDA/NIFA funded grants, ensuring accurate data collection, reporting, and coordination of project activities. This position works closely with Bexar and Harris County agents/staff, Sponsored Research Services (SRS), and the external evaluator to fulfill grant requirements.
Gathers, compiles, and inputs data into the annual REEport system.
Participates in monthly project planning and reflection meetings.
Collects and organizes evaluation and feedback data.
Maintains accurate contact lists for partners and stakeholders.
Schedules meetings with Bexar and Harris County agents/staff.
Orders supplies and materials in alignment with grant guidelines.
Prepares and submits expense reports.
Serves as liaison with SRS and the external evaluator.
Completes internal and external administrative documents/forms for grant personnel.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Preferred:
Experience with program reporting systems (such as REEport).
Prior administrative or grant-related experience.
Up to 20 hours per week

This is a grant-funded position; continued employment is contingent upon available funding and satisfactory performance.
