The department of Physics is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate who will work on laboratory experiments.
This position is funded by a grant or restricted funds. Continued employee is contingent on the renewal of grant or restrictions funds.
Responsibilities:
Train and mentor students as required by the U.S. Department of Energy.
Run radiation experiments on the X-ray cabinet.
Write and contribute to results for journal publication.
Design and support development of a prototype for use at PVAMU and national labs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Ph.D. in Physics
No prior experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience in laboratory research work.
