Job Description:
As Chief of Staff, you’ll be a key strategic partner to the CEO and executive team — owning cross-functional initiatives, driving alignment, streamlining processes, and ensuring execution in a fast-moving startup context. You will operate at both strategic and tactical levels and be the glue that helps SynMax scale smoothly.
- Partner with the CEO on strategic roadmap, planning, and priorities
- Drive cross-functional initiatives end-to-end (e.g. OKRs, operating cadence, strategic projects)
- Lead internal communication, meeting structure, and decision frameworks
- Track performance metrics, help interpret data, and drive informed decisions
- Coordinate executive team, prepare board materials, manage follow-ups
- Identify organizational bottlenecks and lead process improvements
- Act as a proxy for leadership when needed, representing leadership in cross-team contexts
- Liaise with stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, and domain teams
- 5+ years in operations, strategy, program management, consulting, or related roles
- Experience working closely with senior leadership (C‑suite)
- Superb project management, prioritization, and execution skills
- Highly organized, attentive to detail, strong communicator
- Comfortable with ambiguity, hands-on, and scaling systems/processes
- Analytical mindset — ability to interpret data and influence decisions
- Preferred: experience in tech / analytics / high-growth environments
