Job Summary

We’re looking for a well-rounded UX/UI Designer to lead the user experience design of an industrial IoT platform. The platform is focused on safety, maintainability, and auditability of traffic safety devices with a focus on field technician experience. You will own the full UX lifecycle from initial concept to implementation to ongoing optimization with a focus on clarity, accessibility, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to ensure that our application and device interfaces are clean, modern, accessible, and aligned with the current best practices.

Essential Job Functions

· Partner with the product management and marketing team to design the layout, functionality, and visual identity of the applications. 

· Clarify project goals and translate them into user experience

· Proactively recommend updates based on usability, UI trends, and branding goals

· Develop responsive, mobile applications, websites and device interfaces

· Convert designs into functional Figma templates for developers to implement

· Maintain and expand UI components across platforms

· Work with developers to diagnose and resolve bugs and performance issues

· Monitor user behavior using internal tools and data

· Recommend and implement data-informed UX improvements

· Support A/B testing, conversion tracking, and accessibility audits

Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, or a related field preferred or Equivalent experience. A strong portfolio of UX/UI work focused on industrial IoT and mobile first applications with or without a degree will be considered. 

Skills & Experience

· A strong demonstratable portfolio of UX/UI work

· Experience with user research and usability testing

· Proficient in design tools like Figma

· Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)

· Ability to balance branding, user needs, and technical feasibility

· Strong communication and collaboration skills across non-technical teams

· Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with leadership and external partners. 

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
