Switchboard Hiring is partnering with a Series A healthcare marketplace startup that is revolutionizing the $925B clear aligner market. Our client has built a fundamentally new operating system that connects orthodontists with dental practices, enabling seamless orthodontics-as-a-service integration. With $7M in funding and a 20-person remote team, this company is transforming how millions of people access orthodontic care.

Head of Provider Success

Our client is seeking their first Head of Provider Success to own the complete provider journey across their dual-sided marketplace of general dentists and orthodontists. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep dental industry experience who can design, lead, and scale all post-sale initiatives from hundreds to thousands of practice locations. You'll be building provider success systems from the ground up while implementing AI-first solutions at a fast-growing health tech company.

Their platform serves the 1 in 2 patients who want to improve their lives through better smiles. The company combines startup velocity with operational excellence, where every leader has a GM mentality and owns outcomes end-to-end.

What You'll Do

Build Provider Success Foundation - establish clear onboarding processes that drive faster time-to-value for new providers and implement systematic provider health monitoring to reduce reactive support issues.

Scale Operations - architect AI-powered, self-service onboarding modules for rapid provider activation and design the complete provider journey to ensure consistent 5-star experiences across both provider types.

Drive Strategic Growth - serve as executive-level contact for key practices, offering actionable business and clinical insights while building analytics and feedback loops to identify growth opportunities for each practice.

Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives - collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to establish KPIs, reporting systems, and expansion initiatives including feature adoption and long-term value maximization.

Who You Are

Dental Industry Expert: You have 7+ years of experience working IN a dental practice as a Lead Hygienist, Office Manager, or Dentist/Practice Owner, giving you deep understanding of how practices actually operate.

Tech Implementation Experience: You have a demonstrated track record implementing dental technology post-sale at a tech startup that sold into dental practices, understanding the unique challenges of this industry.

AI-Native: You're obsessed with AI and experienced in leveraging modern AI tools - this is one of your passions/hobbies and you're a native user of cutting-edge AI technology.

Impact-Driven: You have multiple examples of rolling up your sleeves to drive outsized measurable impact to your organization and thrive in organized chaos while constantly optimizing experiences with data-driven insights.

Thought Leader: You're actively posting thought leadership on LinkedIn or adjacent platforms and have a shared drive to fundamentally change lives through better healthcare access.

The Opportunity

  • Location: Remote (US) - slight preference for SF/Austin based candidates

  • Reports to: Senior Leadership

  • Compensation: $145K - $165K + Highly Competitive Equity
