- 3+ years in customer-facing technical roles (Sales/Pre-sales, Solutions Architect, Data/Customer Success Engineer).
- 3+ years working with relational DBMS (Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server) and SQL programming.
- 3+ years programming in Java, Python and Shell scripting.
- 3+ years working with cloud platforms and data services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and JMS.
- Familiarity with enterprise, mission-critical data environments and high-availability systems.
Responsibilities
- Onboard new customers: deliver training, solution strategy, and implementation guidance for Striim deployments.
- Lead customer technical teams through design and development phases, promoting best practices and enterprise adoption.
- Transition solutions from pre-sales prototypes to production-scale implementations.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Management to perform periodic health checks and ensure operational excellence.
- Act as product expert and trusted technical advisor; coordinate with support and product teams to drive advocacy and feature requests.
- Proactively engage customers to expand platform adoption and demonstrate new use cases.
- Create and maintain implementation documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
- Track and report on account status, escalations, and product feature requests.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
- Relevant industry certifications or demonstrable hands-on experience accepted in lieu of formal degree.
