This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in contributing to our team as a Software Engineering intern within State Street’s Global Technology Services organization. Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients. What You Will Do:    

In this role, you will perform the following day-to-day activities:  

• Design and develop secure applications  deploying to Cloud environments. 
• Build and manage databases using a combination of database technologies 
• Create responsive user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular 
• Develop and maintain backend services, including APIs, microservices, and middleware  
• Write unit and integration tests 
• Participate in design and code reviews 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies, identify risks, and deliver solutions

Education and Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates should be:  

• Final-year undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related technical disciplines who are interested in converting to a full-time role post-graduation 
• Enthusiastic about building a long-term career in a dynamic, technology-driven organization 
• Effective communicators with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment 
• Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and improvement 
• Motivated by real-world problem solving and eager to contribute innovative ideas
