Stanley Consultants is seeking a Design Build Project Manager for our West Palm Beach office. We need additional leadership who can lead and direct the performance of ongoing Design Build water and wastewater projects. The responsibilities of this position will include managing the activities of a multi-discipline design through Stanley’s water design offices and being responsible for project execution, budget management, client relations, and ensuring compliance with all requirements for projects that use a design-build delivery method.

• Project leadership: Manage the engineering component of water and wastewater projects, including advanced treatment facilities, conveyance systems, and infrastructure development.
• Team management: Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff.
• Project delivery: Oversee all phases of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and client satisfaction standards.
• Design oversight: Manage the development of engineering designs, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Client and stakeholder relations: Interface with clients, government officials, and other stakeholders, and play a key role in business development.
• Financial management: Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and profitability goals.
• Technical expertise: Provide technical consultation and decision-making for complex engineering challenges. 

• A bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, chemical, environmental, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in water or wastewater design and project management, with a strong understanding using progressive design-build, lump sum design-build, or CMAR project delivery methods
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Strong technical and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple disciplines and complex projects.
• Good understanding of project delivery and ability to facilitate technical discussions when needed
• Proven project management experience with ability to manage a diverse team
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence and manage risk
• Demonstration of strong commercial and construction contract experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Travel to other offices/sites will be required
• Experience managing D/B projects that are a minimum of $25 Million
• A DBIA certificate is preferred but not required
• Experience in working with local and state regulatory agencies
• Experience in managing engineering subcontractors

Frequent short-term travel up to 50% of the time may be required depending on project workload.

Stanley’s Approach to Flexibility

While some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home. Eligible roles can also offer a compressed workweek schedule. Members who participate will be assigned a 9/80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday off!
