Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product management and industrial design to conceptualize new product ideas.
- Develop mechanical systems including design, material selection, and manufacturing methods.
- Create prototypes and perform validation testing on product concepts and samples.
- Document product specifications including 3D/2D engineering drawings and bill of materials.
- Work closely with global manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and cost targets.
- Lead root cause analysis and testing to resolve product performance and quality issues.
- Manage timelines, communicate effectively across teams and present project updates to leadership.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers and interns.
- Drive process improvements and act as a specialist in multiple engineering domains.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
- 10+ years relevant work experience considered equivalent.
