Pharmacy Technicians at St. Luke's enjoy opportunities to excel, grow, and be challenged in their careers at the Nampa, Meridian and Boise Medical Centers in Southern Idaho. This is a full-time position with rotating Saturdays.  

 

Our Retail Pharmacies include Retail services, Home Delivery, and Clinic-based pharmacies, and pharmacy programs such as Med Locker and Meds-to-Beds and Hospice.

  • Retail Pharmacy Technicians prepare and deliver our patients' medications, submit insurance claims, input prescription data, coordinate med-syncing, and assist our patients in person and over the phone.
  • Medication Locker Technicians prepare and deliver medications to medication lockers located in St. Luke’s facilities and throughout the community, and communicate with patients when prescriptions are ready for pick up at their convenience.
  • Meds-to-Beds Technicians fill take-home medications for our pharmacists to deliver bedside to our patients prior to discharge, which helps with medication adherence and eliminates the need for a stop on their way home.
  • Micro Pharmacy Behavioral Health Retail Technician supports patients accessing and managing prescription fills. This technician coordinates with clinic providers, patients, and pharmacy systems to ensure seamless medication and community support. This is a newer role for SLHS Pharmacy Technicians to advance in! Twin Falls Pharmacy is actively recruiting to fill this role!

 

 

 

What You Can Expect

  • Full-time, part-time, and flex hours available
  • Work 8- or 10-hour shifts
  • Schedules for our pharmacies can be variable, including Saturday and/or Sunday rotations; Monday-Friday days; or nights
  • Receive shift differential pay; certification pay for PTCB Adv. Certification; preceptor pay
  • Work in a variety of dynamic environments with other interdepartmental disciplines
  • Enjoy the hustle of fast-paced environments
  • Learn and expand your pharmacy skills with opportunities to advance into leadership and pharmacy business positions
  • Work at the top of your license
  • Have opportunities to precept pharmacy technician apprentices and new St. Luke's technicians

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Idaho pharmacy technician License 

Preferred Qualifications

  • One (1) + years' experience
  • CPhT
