Senior Process Engineer - Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS)

In this role as Sr. Process Engineer, EHS (Regional EHS Manager), you'll lead the charge in building a robust safety-first culture. You'll drive operational excellence by designing and implementing advanced programs that protect people, facilities, and the environment. Success means proactively reducing risks, strengthening security, and ensuring compliance through data-driven strategies and strong leadership. Your impact will be measured by improved safety metrics and a more resilient, secure, and sustainable network.


How you will achieve success:
  • Champion a safety-first culture: Proactively reduce risks and prevent loss using leading and lagging indicators to drive action across the network.
  • Design and scale EHS programs: Implement advanced programs for physical security, workplace violence prevention, and EHS compliance within fulfillment operations.
  • Lead incident response and prevention: Conduct root-cause analyses and deploy systemic prevention mechanisms to eliminate risks and standardize processes across fulfillment centers.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert: Provide expert guidance on OSHA compliance, incident reporting, and physical security, while translating strategy into clear, actionable goals.
  • Leverage data for insights: Use data modeling and analysis to detect safety risks and security vulnerabilities, driving long-term KPI improvements in metrics like ORIR, TRI, and asset protection.


What experiences will help you in this role:
  • EHS Expertise: Possess 5+ years of progressive EHS experience and strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
  • Program Implementation: Have a proven track record of implementing safety and security programs in logistics or warehousing environments.
  • Policy Development: Be experienced in developing EHS policies, including drafting, educating, implementing, and measuring their impact.
  • Incident Management: Demonstrate experience in incident response, analysis, and root cause resolution.
  • Communication and Ethics: Exhibit strong cross-organizational communication skills at all levels of leadership, coupled with an unquestionable work ethic and integrity.


$90,000 - $120,000 a year
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $90,000/year to $120,000/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including geographic market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Spreetail is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
