Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies for PCBA, PCB, and related hardware
- Aggregate and pull the demand picture for hardware supporting the Starshield satellite constellation
- Serve as supplier interface for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs and run RFX processes and evaluations
- Manage costs aggressively and build should-cost models for competitive analysis
- Ensure supplier readiness to support prototype builds, ramp-up, and mass production
- Drive internal and external process improvements and supplier cost-saving programs
- Present sourcing recommendations and cost reviews to executives and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain strong supplier partnerships and manage supplier performance data tools
Education
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field plus 2+ years procurement/supply chain experience
- OR 5+ years of procurement/material planning/production planning/supply chain experience in lieu of a degree
