- Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends as needed and travel up to 10%
Responsibilities
- Lead technicians in troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, fluid, and pneumatic equipment failures
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for equipment, process, and behavioral gaps
- Own end-to-end equipment improvement projects from design through implementation
- Mentor technicians on troubleshooting, interpreting mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, GD&T and P&IDs
- Coordinate internal teams and third-party contractors to scope and execute repairs, overhauls, and upgrades
- Create and update preventative maintenance instructions to reduce recurring failures
- Interface with engineering, quality, production and procurement to remove production holds
- Analyze failure modes and recommend spare parts lists, min/max levels and parts criticality
- Lead and promote effective use of CMMS for maintenance tracking and planning
Education
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment (internships and project work applicable)
