Sr. IT Windows Systems Engineer
Skills
- 7+ years Windows OS engineering and architecture
- Active Directory, Kerberos, ADFS/ADCS experience
- PowerShell automation and version control workflows
- PKI, cryptography, certificate lifecycle and key management
- Experience with HSMs and enterprise key management
- Monitoring and automated remediation tooling (SCOM, Icinga or equivalent)
- Networking fundamentals: IPv4, switching, routing, firewalls
- Familiarity with configuration management, CI/CD and IaC practices
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, deploy, and support Microsoft enterprise platforms and related technologies across SpaceX environments.
- Build highly resilient, high-performance, scalable, and maintainable Windows systems and services.
- Implement and maintain PKI, certificate management, KMS/HSM integrations, and encryption solutions.
- Develop scripts and automation (PowerShell) for configuration, deployment, monitoring, and remediation at scale.
- Work with cross-functional engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver interoperable solutions.
- Drive change control, architecture choices, performance tuning, and business continuity planning.
- Support hybrid identity scenarios (EntraID and Active Directory) and multi-platform authentication.
- Create monitoring, metrics collection, and automated remediation for critical systems.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to satisfy Air Force background check and ITAR eligibility (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
