Responsibilities
- Develop automation to deploy and manage on-premise compute resources
- Deploy and operate core infrastructure components including databases, monitoring, and distributed storage
- Collaborate with software teams to build scalable, operable, and maintainable services
- Own service lifecycle from design through deployment, operation, and improvement
- Invent tools and processes to streamline development and deployment workflows
- Provide comprehensive software validation including virtualized, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-orbit testing
- Perform monitoring, data analysis, and support continuous integration/release systems
- Hands-on integration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning across the Starlink stack
- Identify improvement areas and implement solutions to increase developer velocity
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/IT, or an engineering discipline and 1+ years relevant experience
- OR 3+ years professional experience in systems administration, SRE, or DevOps in lieu of a degree
