Fuse Finance - Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team and work at the intersection of frontend, backend, product, and infrastructure. You’ll own product features end to end and help design intuitive, flexible, and scalable tools for financial services.

This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys building real products, thinking in systems, and collaborating across disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, ship, and maintain product features across both frontend and backend.

• Implement and optimize scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using NestJS and PostgreSQL.

• Build dynamic, server-rendered user interfaces using React and TypeScript.

• Contribute to data modeling strategies and handle complex business logic related to financial workflows.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Solutions teams to define and prioritize technical work.

• Participate in code reviews, documentation, testing, and performance optimization efforts.

• Help define and continuously improve engineering best practices and architectural standards.

Essential Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, ideally in product-driven environments.

• Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript.

• Experience with Node.js and backend frameworks such as NestJS.

• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Comfortable taking full ownership of features, from architecture through launch and iteration.

• Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure concepts (preferably AWS).

• Strong communication skills with a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services, SaaS platforms, or low-code/no-code products.

• Comfortable working with distributed teams in fast-paced environments.

• Interest in performance optimization, system design, or DevOps practices.
