1570 - Cyber SME III

Sigma Defense is seeking a Cyber SME III to join our team in support of the government customer’s mission for Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) of Cybersecurity and Electromagnetic activities interests, policy, procedures, methodologies, capability needs and resourcing, Cybersecurity Assessment Program (CAP) evaluations in Joint and Service Training exercises and related subject matter expertise.

Must have a sound foundation and advanced knowledge of Information Assurance policy, compliance requirements and related measures including but not limited to Protect, Detect, React, Restore and Resilience metrics. A particular appreciation of mission impacts identified is essential. Must have experience in translating customer system requirements to Cybersecurity T&E plans and measures.

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Possess expertise of Cyber ranges and related discrete Service and OSD test and training capabilities and Cyber capabilities in National Labs, Universities and industry.
• Possess Senior-level knowledge of the planning and execution of Offensive Cyber Operations; Defensive Cyber Operations; Persistent Cyber [Threat] Operations; Advanced Cyber OPFOR; Cyber mission environment emulations; Related Traffic generation tools; Cyber threat simulations; Cybersecurity Intrusion Detection Systems; and network vulnerability analysis tools.
• Possess expertise in dealing with the most senior officials in the DoD, including senior staff and Principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study is preferred.

Personnel Clearance Level:

• Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance or higher.
• Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

• May be required to work and operate in a TS/SCI and SAP/SAR environment.
• Provide functional expert in support of DOT&E mission for OT&E of Cybersecurity and Electromagnetic activities interests, policy, procedures, methodologies, capability needs, and resourcing.
• Provide advanced knowledge of Information Assurance policy, compliance requirements, and related measures including but not limited to Protect, Detect, React, Restore and Resilience metrics, and mission impacts.
• Provide expertise in the application of the six phases of cybersecurity T&E for new acquisition and legacy systems and operational network environments.
• Provide expertise for exercise/event support of Cyber ranges and related discrete Service test and training capabilities and Cyber capabilities in National labs, universities, and industry.
• Creates and publishes technical documentations and manuals.
• Collects and interprets technical data or information and coordinates layout for publication.
• Analyzes test results and technical team notes.
• Writes test reports.
• Supports technical proposal development.
• Develops product specification sheets.
• Builds and maintains technical library.
• Additional duties supporting program/customer requirements.
• Occasional travel.

Salary Range: $195,000 - $220,000 annually.
