Position Overview:
The Siemens Mobility Customer Services SCM Order Management & Logistics Team is seeking a Logistics Project Professional. This role will order transportation services to the approved nominated forwarders and carriers to acquire services at the lowest cost consistent with quality, deliver reliability and to the necessity of project’s need. One will maintain the lead times for international and domestic transportation, customs clearance, and align with the logistics corporate and logistics category team to monitor the forwarders’ performance, and quality as negotiated terms and conditions. This position will assist the Supply Chain Management team in driving its strategies at a tactical level. This position can be located in Lexington, NC or New Castle, DE.
