As a Specialist/Consultant in Brain Injury Medicine, your role will involve providing comprehensive evaluations, establishing diagnoses, and creating tailored treatment plans aimed at promoting optimal recovery for patients. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring that each patient's treatment journey is well-coordinated and focused on their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and clinical evaluations of patients with brain injuries.
- Diagnose brain injuries and formulate individualized treatment and intervention plans.
- Engage with a multidisciplinary team to foster integrated patient care.
- Advise patients and families on treatment options, rehabilitation strategies, and brain health maintenance.
- Continuously monitor patient progress, adapting plans as needed.
- Participate in research initiatives to advance the field of Brain Injury Medicine.
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree with an active state medical license.
- Completion of residency in Neurology, Rehabilitation Medicine, or related field.
- Board eligibility or certification in Brain Injury Medicine is preferred.
- Proven experience in assessing and treating brain injuries.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
