Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
Full-Time Position: Monday-Friday, No Weekends/Holidays
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, experienced RN to join our innovative leadership team while maintaining your critical thinking skills in an outpatient setting. Our nurses work as a team to manage the anticoagulation needs of over 900 patients followed by UR Cardiac Care. They collaborate with all members of the care team to provide the highest quality and comprehensive care. This position includes participation in unit/service activities, strong teamwork, and flexibility. Our primary location is in Brighton where we are able to provide a drive-up service but we also see patients at our other locations throughout Rochester.
