- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort assisting with cosmetic and laser procedures (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures
- Prepare and room patients; check and maintain equipment at the start of each shift
- Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, and procedures in the chart
- Provide pre-care and post-care treatment instructions to patients
- Manage daily inventory, restock supplies, and report low-stock items
- Use EMR and scheduling systems to document visits and manage appointments
- Support provider-to-patient flow and anticipate provider needs
- Participate in in-house training and continuing education
- Provide coverage and flexible support on rotating Saturdays and as needed
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- National Medical Assistant certification preferred
