Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Vendor Manager to oversee the entire vendor lifecycle, from onboarding to performance monitoring. This role requires strong expertise in procurement processes, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management. As the primary point of contact for vendors, you will work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth communication, optimize vendor services, and reduce costs.

Role Overview:
The Vendor Manager will manage vendor onboarding, negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and implement procurement strategies. Success in this role demands exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain strong vendor relationships while driving cost efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Onboarding & Management:
Manage all stages of vendor onboarding and re-onboarding while maintaining accurate, organized records of active vendors.
Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
Handle incoming vendor requests and ensure smooth processing of related inquiries.
Contract Negotiation & Relationship Building:
Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with vendors to secure favorable contracts aligned with business goals.
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery and effective problem resolution.
Performance Monitoring & Analytics:
Track and evaluate vendor performance against KPIs and contractual terms, conducting regular reviews and audits.
Present reports on vendor performance, procurement expenditures, and other key metrics to support data-driven decisions.
Cost Optimization:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies that optimize vendor services and reduce costs while maintaining quality.
Procurement Process Optimization:
Oversee purchase orders and continuously improve procurement processes and policies.
Optimize vendor onboarding processes for efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications:
Experience:
3+ years of experience in vendor management or procurement, with strong expertise in onboarding and contract negotiation.
Proficiency in CRM systems to manage vendor performance and procurement data.
Experience working with G Suite and project management tools.
Skills:
Strong relationship management skills to foster long-term vendor partnerships.
Familiarity with SAP is highly advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is highly advantageous.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
