Skills
- Experience preparing for and participating in GRC audits (SOC 2, ISO, FedRAMP, CMMC).
- Hands-on cloud security experience (IAM, network policies, container security).
- Strong Python proficiency and experience building automation/scripts.
- Comfort using modern AI-assisted development tools and APIs (e.g., LangChain, n8n, Cursor).
- Exceptional written communication and attention to detail for policies, audit responses, and customer-facing materials.
Responsibilities
- Implement technical controls and evidence collection with engineering for standards such as ISO 42001 and FedRAMP.
- Manage audits, customer questionnaires, and day-to-day IT/security support while identifying friction and automating workflows.
- Rapidly prototype and ship internal tools, scripts, and custom integrations (e.g., Vanta) using AI-assisted development.
- Partner with application, data, infrastructure, and ML teams to implement secure design patterns and governance practices.
- Automate AI risk assessments and secure architecture reviews to speed production deployments rather than block them.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor during audits and customer engagements, explaining security posture and remediation plans.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP) preferred but not required.
