The Senior Manager, MuleSoft & API Platform Engineering will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of enterprise integration platforms, focusing on MuleSoft (CloudHub, RTF, Flex Gateway) and API governance. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable API and integration services across the organization. You will guide an engineering squad, drive platform roadmaps, implement AI-enabled development practices, and enforce governance standards. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendor partners, and stakeholders to maintain high uptime, performance, and security standards. • Lead MuleSoft and API platform engineering, covering lifecycle management, governance, reliability, security, and resiliency
• Develop and execute the platform roadmap, including capacity planning, architectural enhancements, and vendor partnerships
• Raise engineering quality through coding standards, API design guidance, reusable patterns, code reviews, and contract enforcement
• Strengthen gateway capabilities with edge security, routing, traffic control, policy automation, and zero-trust implementation
• Manage day-to-day operations including incident response, release management, performance tuning, and SLA adherence
• Build observability using monitoring tools, logs, metrics, distributed tracing, and automated guardrails
• Advance DevOps practices with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub automation, infrastructure-as-code, and secure deployment workflows
• Implement AI-driven development tools, generative coding support, automated documentation, and self-healing workflows
• Lead and mentor engineering squads, providing technical guidance and cross-functional collaboration with product, security, and engineering teams
• Oversee vendor management, licensing, contracts, and cost optimization for predictable and efficient platform operations

• 7+ years of experience in integration engineering, API delivery, or platform management with deep MuleSoft expertise (API-led, RTF, Flex Gateway)
• Strong coding and architecture skills with the ability to guide engineers and improve engineering practices
• Experience managing mission-critical platforms with high uptime and reliability requirements
• Solid understanding of observability, distributed systems, logs/metrics/tracing, and data-driven operations
• Hands-on DevOps experience including CI/CD pipelines, automation, secure deployments, and infrastructure-as-code
• Proven experience leading engineering squads or multi-vendor teams across onsite/offshore models
• Familiarity with AI-enabled development, agentic automation, and self-healing platforms
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics and build trust across stakeholders

• Competitive salary range of $119,800 - $194,900 per year, with adjustments based on experience and location
