San Francisco University High School (UHS) is looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate Assistant Coaches to join our dynamic athletics department. If you share our core values of Inquiry, Care, Integrity, Agency, and Interconnection, and believe in the transformative power of sports, we want to hear from you!
At UHS, our dynamic and collaborative athletic department views sports as an integral part of our students' overall education. We empower student-athletes to not only develop physically and emotionally, but also cultivate critical life skills like teamwork, resilience, leadership, and tenacity. These qualities foster success in the classroom, in college, and throughout life.
UHS is a coeducational independent day school in San Francisco, situated in the vibrant Pacific Heights neighborhood. We serve 514 students in grades 9-12. Founded in 1975, our mission is to challenge each individual to live a life of integrity, inquiry, and purpose larger than the self.
We're seeking motivated and knowledgeable Assistant Coaches to support our Boys Flag Football program. This part-time, seasonal role spans from summer assessments through the fall season (August–November).
As an Assistant Coach, you'll play an essential role in player development, cultivating a positive team culture, and ensuring smooth daily program operations under the guidance of our Program Director and Varsity Head Coach. We're seeking candidates with a strong understanding of the game, a commitment to educational athletics, and a passion for supporting student-athletes in their growth both on and off the field.
Requirements
This is a seasonal, part-time position with a pay range of $5,000 – $8,000, commensurate with experience and team assignment. This compensation includes responsibilities during the summer assessment period and the fall competitive season.
If you're ready to contribute your passion and expertise to a thriving boys flag football program, please submit your application through the school’s website.
