This is a pivotal academic leadership role for an experienced AI educator and strategist ready to shape the future of higher education in artificial intelligence. You’ll lead and oversee a portfolio of AI programs across undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, with full ownership of curriculum development, faculty management, and student outcomes. Operating at the intersection of technology, education, and industry innovation, you’ll drive growth, ensure academic excellence, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration within a dynamic and forward-thinking academic environment.

Accountabilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and academic oversight for all AI programs at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels.
• Design, assess, and enhance curricula to align with industry advancements and research developments.
• Recruit, mentor, and supervise a diverse faculty team, fostering a culture of teaching excellence and continuous development.
• Coordinate course offerings, teaching assignments, and academic schedules to support program delivery.
• Lead quality assurance, outcomes assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives for all AI courses.
• Manage budgets, allocate resources, and support student recruitment, advising, and retention strategies.
• Build partnerships with industry leaders and academic institutions to drive program relevance and growth.
• Collaborate with other Program Directors to promote interdisciplinary learning and maintain program alignment.
• Represent the AI programs internally and externally through various academic and professional forums.
• Contribute to strategic planning and broader school-wide initiatives.

• Doctorate in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership in academic program management, preferably across multiple degree levels.
• Proven teaching record in higher education, with experience in both online and in-person formats.
• Deep understanding of current AI technologies, tools, trends, and ethical considerations.
• Experience managing faculty, supporting development, and driving academic innovation.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven success collaborating across departments and working in multi-program academic settings.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
• Professional certifications in AI or data science are an added advantage.
