This is an onsite position.

Job Summary

Provide execution and support at the local level of procurement activity.  Source materials and/or services in alignment with the strategic plan. Demonstrate knowledge of price and cost analysis tools to drive cost savings on a medium scale.

Responsibilities:

• Execute order placement and issuance of POs in accordance with policies/procedures
• Responsible for timely blocked invoice resolution and avoidance; Participates in external benchmarking and implementation of best practices
• Participates in Sourcing process improvement initiatives and tools including project planning and implementation
• Participates in the identification of stakeholder needs and delivers appropriate internal and external communication to meet the needs of Operations
• Collaborates with internal partners to communicate and drive utilization of preferred suppliers
• Facilitates negotiations on medium scale projects to achieve department objectives
• Under general direction, uses data to conduct price & cost analysis to drive savings
• Utilizes effective presentation skills to address stakeholders’ needs; communicates with Senior Management across the organization
• Participates in the development of robust training, policy, and procedure materials
• Addresses contractual issues with direction, as needed
• Works closely with internal partners on sourcing decisions to ensure supplier contribution and performance requirements are met

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• A Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to functional work preferred
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Able to demonstrates ability to solve moderately complex problems by analyzing variables and applying appropriate solutions
• Must be able to recognize anomalies and critical situations and respond appropriately
• Must be able to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers
• Able to apply strong functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, Google Suite or other technical tools in completing assignments.
• May require knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn specialized software to complete work assignments.
• Knowledgeable of the critical factors affecting sourcing and supplier management.
• Skilled in negotiating and understanding purchasing contract language.
• Intermediate skills in developing or applying effective and proactive supplier management techniques and tools
• Must be able to proactively listen to others to understand issues and situations.
• Must be able to clearly articulate business needs to both internal and external customers.

RRD's current salary range for this role is $55,100 to $82,700 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
