Product Manager (Hybrid or Remote)

RouteSmart Technologies, a leader in vehicle route optimization software technology, is seeking a Product Manager to join our Product Management team. This role is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and validating new features and enhancements across RouteSmart’s product lines. The Product Manager will work closely with development, QA, and client services teams to support high-quality delivery of product updates using Agile methodologies. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and support multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $65,000–$80,000 per year. RouteSmart Technologies, Inc. has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the U.S., and base pay will vary based on experience.  

This is a hybrid role; candidates must be able to commute to the office in Columbia, MD. Candidates must reside within 50 miles and be available to work onsite several days per week.   

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

• Support the development of user stories and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements using Agile development practices. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features for upcoming releases.
• Communicate product direction and release progress across departments. 
• Contribute to project coordination efforts for specific features or custom development efforts.
• Validate bugs reported by clients and internal teams. 
• Participate in testing and quality assurance of new features and bug fixes.
• Support client services in managing bug tracking and enhancement requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

• 1-3 years’ experience in product management or quality assurance. 
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. 
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills – verbal and written. 
• Minimal travel required. 

Education & Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as GIS or Business (preferred). 
• Understanding of Agile development processes (preferred).
• Experience with GIS software (preferred).
