Responsibilities
- Develop and execute supplier development and onboarding plans for machining suppliers/subcontractors
- Identify production risks, build sourcing schedules, and manage dependencies to achieve 100% material availability
- Manage supplier relationships to drive manufacturing process, quality system, and delivery improvements
- Coordinate cross-functional engineering and production teams to meet program milestones
- Perform due diligence for supplier selection and support supplier escalation communications
- Report supplier performance and development progress clearly to internal stakeholders and senior leadership
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed to resolve supplier capacity, quality, or timing issues
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or other technical discipline (required)
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience considered
