Senior RF Design Engineer I/II
Skills
- Fundamental RF engineering (cascaded device analysis, link budgets)
- HFSS or equivalent EM simulation experience
- RF PCB layout and parts selection for space applications
- Prototype build, integration and test experience
- System-level RF communications and navigation understanding
- Development of test plans and production/GSE automation
- Familiarity with engineering review processes (PDR/CDR/TRR)
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain RF product requirements and specifications
- Design, simulate and prototype RF products including component selection and PCB layout
- Develop test plans, procedures and support verification activities
- Support GSE and production automation development for new products
- Produce product documentation including ICDs and user manuals
- Collaborate with Test and Manufacturing Engineers to drive New Product Introduction
- Review proposals and requirements to assess compliance and scope development work
- Support engineering reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR) and program milestones
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal and external customers
- Monitor development and production schedules to meet program needs
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Communications or related engineering field
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status required for US-based roles (ITAR/Program requirement)
