Electrical Engineer - Production

We are looking for a Electrical Engineer to work in our Production facility to help build the next generation of mobile and stationary security devices. In this role you will work closely with the Electrical Engineering team, to transition products from engineering to Production, provide production support, ECOs and Quality control.


The ideal candidate should have experience in a manufacturing environment both as an engineer and have experience engaging with assembly personal.


Responibilities
  • Electrical System Design: Develop and design electrical systems for a variety of projects, ensuring they meet safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-On Expertise: Utilize your hands-on experience to test, troubleshoot, and validate electrical systems and components using basic tools, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Wiring and Interconnections: Proficiently work with electrical wiring and connectors, ensuring proper sizing, insulation, and routing to maintain system integrity and reliability.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to evaluate product performance and reliability.
  • Mechanical Knowledge: Demonstrate a basic understanding of mechanical principles to collaborate effectively with mechanical engineers, ensuring seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components.
  • Manufacturing Support: Provide technical support to the manufacturing team during production, offering insights into the assembly process, quality control, and materials selection.
  • Production transition and in field Operations support: You will need to be able to engage with remote teams for debugging and knowledge transfer
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including electrical schematics, diagrams, and test reports, to facilitate efficient communication and project continuity.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and enhance product performance.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all electrical designs and processes comply with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Hands-On Experience: Proven track record of practical experience in electrical engineering, including testing, troubleshooting, and prototyping.
  • Proficient with Basic Tools: In-depth knowledge of using common electrical tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering equipment.
  • Wiring and Interconnections: Familiarity with electrical wiring techniques and understanding of wire sizes, insulation, and termination methods.
  • Basic Mechanical Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical engineering principles to facilitate collaboration with mechanical teams.
  • Manufacturing Awareness: Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to support production teams.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges effectively.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Safety-Conscious: Demonstrated commitment to adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations.
  • Knowledge or experience working with software tools
