- Experience with deployment pipelines, canaries, load testing, and recovery tooling
- Track record building fault-tolerant distributed systems and modernizing release pipelines
- Hands-on leadership and ability to build alongside a small, high-caliber team
Responsibilities
- Lead high-stakes scaling initiatives to support millions of additional customers
- Set and drive long-term technical strategy for banking infrastructure
- Decide which infrastructure components to keep, evolve, or replace and lead those transitions
- Design highly available, fault-tolerant systems for transaction-critical services
- Establish best practices for load testing, canary releases, recovery tooling, and deployment pipelines
- Improve stability across databases, compute, deployments, and distributed systems
- Reduce operational friction by improving on-call processes, incident response, and recovery protocols
- Invest in developer experience to accelerate safe, low-risk iteration
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred
- Advanced degree a plus but not required; equivalent hands-on experience accepted
